California Minimum Wage Increase July 2024. For employers with 26 or more workers, the minimum wage would reach $18 on january 1, 2025. This year, california has decided that the minimum wage increase will include an inflation adjustment of 3.5 percent for all employees.

The general state minimum wage for all employers has increased from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour. Gavin newsom in september signed a law that raises the minimum wage for the industry to $20 an hour.
